destination: calla lily picking (04/2008)
It's flower season! We decided to take a breather from the city, go up the mountains, and appreciate MOTHER'S beauty. We had an agenda in mind: pick calla lilies. It couldn't have been a better day, for the simple reason that there was no sun! I'm not much of a sun-lover except when I'm on the beach, or an occasional exposure every now and then. But on trips like these where walking is part of the itinerary... take a hike Mr. Sun!

Hi nyel... yeah, and I only knew about the picking thing after 10 years here, duh. Yeah, it was a little dark for the cherry blossom pic... but still, I won't have picked another kind of weather that day... =)
